Animax Cosplay@ The Curve

First of all, I would like to thank Mak Heong Weng aka Amakor for inviting me to company him for this event.

And thanks to Huai Nian for quenching my thirst with few samples of Ribena.. he's working there just so you know.

Animax Cosplay event, where we can see many dress up and different kind of characters comes to life, with different faces and weird plastic feeling. Me and Mak did not dress up!
Cosplay common costumes.. the Jedi and sith lord. Who wouldn't see them in most cosplay?!! The new ones is like Darth Nihilus, but he is much taller in The Knight of the Old Republic. Getting ready for the competition, with other competitors too like.. eh? Naruto? and bleach.
There are characters like Ragnarok acolyte, Bleach Uruahara and Matsumoto, Stargate SG1, FAT Naruto, Sailormoon (omg), Final Fantasy Yuna , Ghost Rider without the flaming skull, some Ninja.
Kyo Kusangi from KOF. Not a very suitable character for a dark skin guy like him. He should play K' instead but need some work on the hair. His performance was not bad, able to cast fire and all, just that his fighting style is not according to Kyo's. What am I saying? Not all of them followed the character's potential...
On the other hand, there's an original character.. Like this cool SWAT team lookalike. Very good performance, got so many utilities such as an UZI, Rocket Launcher (that actually works in one way), a mini gun that can actually spin, a C4 that can explode.
Okay, his item works in a way like... gasses gushing out and stuff... very realistic!! Very Creative!!
He called himself Night Stalker or something...something to do with Stalker, I can see why.

Naruto evil bad ass character. If you look closely, he looks like Chi Khan. Nearly fooled me there, with all that piercing. Plus his character really similar to Chi Khan's "cool" mode. You know, when he acts cool and don't give a damn about anything... showing those gesture as well, REALLY CHI KHAN ALIKE!!

All time favorite!! Darth Vader the dark lord of the sith. With a cool helmet with Vader's voice amplifier. Very funny performance as well!! Just the height that matters.
Plus a common character, Captain Jack Sparrow!! Is normal seeing him hanging out nearby the Ribena stand, don't have his Black Pearl around to sail to Tortuga so just have a few cups of Ribena will do.

"Ribena is good for you matey!! Good for ol' pirate when there's no rum and sake!!" quote Jack Sparrow.

Darth Nihilus, is good to have costumes that cover your face. You don't need to bother about your facial expression when you take pictures, like mine for example.. it was suppose to be a candid picture. Somehow the force is strong in him so able to sense Mak taking picture he start posing with me.

I was like, Damn!! Really!! Is funny having that said out from the Dark Lord of the Sith. But I reject!! I'll never be a furry wookiee holding a wookiee crossbow.

All that said, Chewbacca was still much taller than me. Plus all that Blondie fur/hair that I don't have!! Look at my skin!! If I were have those hair/fur.. I don't need pants. I just need a wookie crossbow!!!!
Okay, so instead of mind trick me into being a Chewbacca... he force choked me. One thing about Sith lords, they are all sadist. Never use a peaceful way to plead people, they normally force lightning you to death or force choke... After all, they're sith lord.

So I'm gonna be Chewbacca for Halloween.. hear me growl!!

So I'm like Luke Skywalker first, having my training on using a lightsaber... with my new master lecturing me. Guess what he said?

" The saber works better inside the building, you can see the color better there".. So I was like yes Master but I like it better if I can you the force.

After the long wait for results, they finally announce the winners.

Definitely he will win!! With all that good performance and cool gadgets. He look alot like Imperial Pilot from Star Wars IV. I tell you, the mini gun seriously works!! He had a briefcase with C4 too.

Second place will be Captain Jack Sparrow along with Darth Vader.

That is all for now, may the force be with you. Maybe I should cosplay too, not with Chewbacca... maybe Davy Jones or Kenpachi from Bleach? Or better yet a Stormtrooper... But since I'm that tall I should play Darth Vader!! My turn to be the Dark Lord of the Sith!!! Hail!
