Frying Me

When 3 college students living under one roof which were down bored and have absolutely nothing to do They decided to go out for lunch together, to some Taiwanese restaurant which none of them knew what the name was... and thought that the food will be satisfying...
But what they didn't expected, was after having small portion of rice, and another meal of 'Mi suah'... WHICH tasted like vomit.
And reminds me when I had chicken pox which the whole 2 weeks I'd only had 'Mi Suah'..
It tasted... terrible..
Which inspired one of them to cook!!! Meet Chef JeckShen and Chef Nian!!
Jordan is the cameraman.
Inspired just by eating crap from Taiwanese store, they suggested to make a simple meal..
Maggie Mee Goreng!!

Chef Nian is in charge of the onions and garlics, plus the other ingredients such as black sauce and the Maggie powder.

While Chef JeckShen is in charge of frying the noodles and keep situation organized.
Remember Jeckshen said he should have took culinary arts instead of accounting degree? No?
Well now you know..
so to fulfill his dream...

So the garlic and onions is ready, after heating the cooking oil for more than 5 mins...

Thanks to Chef Nian..

Pour the mixed ingredients into the kuali and start frying it

and next would be the noodles.... following by the black sauce..

which Chef Nian accidentally adding in another ingredient...but we'll leave that for later..

So we forgot a few things...

Like eggs, which suppose to be fried before adding in the noodles...

So it turns out, the egg was absorbed into the noodles, making it taste richer, not to mention the secret ingredient Chef Nian added.
So Chef Nian decided to take over Chef JeckShen's position, and start to do kung fu fry!!
And Walla!! It took half an hour to finish frying the noodles...
and TADA!! notice that there's lime and... peanut..
So they bungkus the mee goreng and let a better judge decided whether it's edible or not.

So our judge would be Tan Ming Hee!!!!
Which gives half thumb up... above average!! Acceptable!!!
Thanks to the secret ingredient!!

What he didn't know was it actually boosted his strength like Popeye after having his spinach!!

and if you all been wondering what the secret ingredient is...

Vinegar... thanks to Chef Nian again!!!

Looks like TET not only do exploring, it cooks as well!!!!
Next meal, Lamb Chop... anyone?
good news is that we did not suffer any stomach aches or diarrhea!!
So our cooking isn't that bad after all!!
*off~
