Once again, The Explorer Team(TET) had decided to patrol the local city for another amazing hotspot, and guess what is on our list? Tamarind Springs!! One of Malaysia's 100 best restaurants!
And with our team members from the TET:

2) Tan Ming Hee the plan manager
3) Chan Huai Nian the navigator, not much of effort done.
4) Tan Jeck Shen the cameraman
5) Jordan Lo the rookie ( freshman)

Tamarind Springs, resting quietly at the jungle's edge within the city, disembark upon nature's gateway into a visual and sensory feast. Highlights are the Jungle luxury dining, poolside dining, intimate & romantic setting by night, and not to mention all the award winnings.

Tamarind Springs is also renowned for its lush sensuous appeal.

The walkway into Tamarind Spring, greeted by candle lights along the way, with the whole nature surroundings. It is divided into few restaurants:

Tamarind Springs, with traditional Indochinese cuisine and Cambodian.

Il Tempio with Regional Italian Cuisine

and

Mandi-Mandi, surrounding the entire pool area and serve Regional Malay Cuisine & Thai Grill.

The pond before the entrance, Tamarind is conceptualized as "Jungle Luxury Dining", celebrated for their creativ Thai and Indochinese cuisine, and stunning intimate ambience.
The location of Tamarind Springs, with total seating capacity of 180 pax.Its hideaway location offers a private setting ideal for exclusive corporate dinners, international events and corporate retreats with a difference.Resting quietly at the jungle's edge, Tamarind Springs is a culinary gem waiting to be discovered. Home to excellent Indochinese cuisine, this oasis of tranquility blends fine dining and intimate setting in perfect harmony. Below is the IL TEMPIO restaurant Drawing inspiration from the tranquil setting of Asian monasteries, such as the Long House for example.. dining Italian here is hence redefined.

Mandi-Mandi takes form as a lavish and hip semi-outdoor lounge restaurant surrounding the entire pool area and luxuriant greens and with seatings in a main 'balai' and 'pondoks' positioned underneath the forested canopy.
Note that camera are not allowed in whole are of Tamarind Springs. If you wonder how I got so many pictures.. is.. NO I DID NOT TOOK IT FROM THE INTERNET!!!

Like I said, surroundings with nature, they come with creatures too. The tortoise from the pond at the entrance of Tamarind Springs.

And a whole load of amphibians at the main gate near the parking load. They lives in a small fountain, you can hear croaks as a sound of music.

And again, TET outdone themselves.. Budgeted RM200 per individual for the food in any cuisine, they provide wine too.Tamarind Springs closes at 1030pm, Fortunately for us,we're able to tour around.
