When Friends Become more

Friendship is a single soul living in two bodies

Falling in love with your best friend or your friend falling in love with you is a very common scenario. I speaking in boy and girl best friend terms silly.

It isn't surprising that you would fall in love with a friend. After all, that friend is already someone you like and with whom you fell comfortable. It is often someone you already spend a great deal of time with and someone with whom you spent thousands of hours on the phone.. texting each other.

you know this person likes and dislikes, concerns and deepest insecurities and this person knows yours...

so, whats the problem?

well, first of all these feelings are not always mutual, sadly to say. The friend may want to remain just that.... A FRIEND.

there is also the discomfort that occurs when the other person knows you feel... erm.. differently. Oftentimes he or she feels guilty or maybe even threatened. Whatever it is that the other is feeling, it can become very complicated... am i right to say so?

once again, honesty is always the best policy... even if it seems like being honest will mess things up... possibly even destroy a perfectly good friendship, it is always the vest way to go. IN the long run, you won't regret it. risk is everything.

i know of many times when friend have become gf and bf... like....erm... wait.. let me think...

erm.... BRAD AND CHENGY..(taman SEA).. MOON AND MR FOUR (UTAR)... JUSTIN AND... idunnowhatshername (taman megah)... and... MELVIN AND ZHEYING (KLANG)... ya.. and many more... and everyone ended up happy... except Brad and Chengy.. sorry to say... bleak

But, even when the relationship thing doesn't work out, with honesty.. the friendship can survive and even become stronger.

so..... if you like your friend as more than a friend.. hang in there. don't ever give up hope. Things will work out...one way or another...
